Using Dmail with Outlook, Apple Mail or other customers email applications.

Your IMAP and POP enables you to download messages from Dmail, to be able to access your mail with a program like Microsoft Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird or another email application

Dmail Settings

Using Dmail with the program Outlook, Thunderbird and mobile devices such as Android and iOS apps or other email applications.

E-mail Account Settings - E-mail in Microsoft Outlook
  • IMAP
  • Open Outlook and from the menu select the “Tools” tab
  • Select “Email Accounts”
  • Select your email
  • Then select the “Change” button
  • Incoming Mail: smtp2.dwhite.gr
  • Outgoing Mail: smtp0.dwhite.gr
  • Click the “More Settings” button
  • In the tab “Outgoing Server”
  • Check the box “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication”
  • In the tab “Advanced”
  • Port: 993 incoming messages and select checkbox using SSL
  • Port: 587 in the outgoing mail and TLS security
  • ATTENTION: The only checkbox that must be checked is “Leave a copy of messages on the server”
  • Click OK and select “Control settings” and finally “Next”
  • POP3
  • Open Outlook and from the menu select the “Tools” tab
  • Select “Email Accounts”
  • Select your email
  • Then select the “Change” button
  • Incoming Mail: smtp2.dwhite.gr
  • Outgoing Mail: smtp0.dwhite.gr
  • Click the “More Settings” button
  • In the tab “Outgoing Server”
  • Check the box “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication”
  • In the tab “Advanced”
  • Port: 995 incoming messages and select checkbox using SSL
  • Port: 587 in the outgoing mail and TLS security
  • ATTENTION: The only checkbox that must be checked is “Leave a copy of messages on the server”
  • Click OK and select “Control settings” and finally “Next”

Create new Account Email

  • IMAP
  • From the Thunderbird menu open the “Tools” tab and then select Account Settings
  • Then click on Account Actions -> Add Mail Account
  • In the new tab that opens, type your name, your email and your password
  • Click the “Continue” button and then click the “Manual Setup” button
  • Select the type of incoming to IMAP, write smtp2.dwhite.gr and port: 993
  • Select SSL to SSL Standard Code option and the Certification option
  • Fill in the username of your email address
  • Select the type of outgoing SMTP, write smtp0.dwhite.gr and port: 587
  • Select TLS (or STARTTLS) in SSL Standard Code in the Certification option
  • Finally, fill in the username of your email address and click on the “Done” button to complete your settings
  • If another window opens, press “Confirm Security Exception”
  • Right click on your email and choose “Synchronization & Storage”
  • You have to choose “Don’t delete any messages” and “Always keep starred messages”
  • POP3
  • From the Thunderbird menu open the “Tools” tab and then select Account Settings
  • Then click on Account Actions -> Add Mail Account
  • In the new tab that opens, type your name, your email and your password
  • Click the “Continue” button and then click the “Manual Setup” button
  • Select the type of incoming to POP3, write smtp2.dwhite.gr and port: 995
  • Select SSL to SSL Standard Code option and the Certification option
  • Fill in the username of your email address
  • Select the type of outgoing SMTP, write smtp0.dwhite.gr and port: 587
  • Select TLS (or STARTTLS) in SSL Standard Code in the Certification option
  • Finally, fill in the username of your email address and click on the “Done” button to complete your settings

Edit an Existing Email Account

  • IMAP
  • To change the incoming mail settings (IMAP)
  • Right click on the name of the email
  • Select “Server Settings”
  • In the list that appears below the email, select Server Settings Server Name: smtp2.dwhite.gr
  • Port: 993
  • Connection Security: SSL / TLS
  • Authentication Method: Normal
  • Ok
  • Choose “Synchronization & Storage”
  • You have to choose “Don’t delete any messages” and “Always keep starred messages”
  • To change the outgoing mail settings (smtp)
  • Right click on the name of the email
  • Select “Settings”
  • In the displayed list, at the bottom there is the “outgoing server” option, which you select
  • Select the selected server
  • Click the “edit” button
  • Change the name server: smtp0.dwhite.gr
  • Ok
  • POP3
  • To change the incoming mail settings (POP3)
  • Right click on the name of the email
  • Select “Server Settings”
  • In the list that appears below the email, select Server Settings Server Name: smtp2.dwhite.gr
  • Port: 995
  • Connection Security: SSL / TLS
  • Authentication Method: Normal
  • Ok
  • Choose “Synchronization & Storage”
  • You have to choose “Don’t delete any messages” and “Always keep starred messages”
  • To change the outgoing mail settings (smtp)
  • Right click on the name of the email
  • Select “Settings”
  • In the displayed list, at the bottom there is the “outgoing server” option, which you select
  • Select the selected server
  • Click the “edit” button
  • Change the name server: smtp0.dwhite.gr
  • Ok

  • IMAP
  • Go to Applications (Apps) on your mobile Android and select the “E-mail” application
  • Select the Menu button and then select “Settings”
  • Delete the old account and create a new one
  • Click + and enter the email address and password
  • Then click the “Next” button and in the window that appears select the IMAP
  • In the “incoming server settings” window

in the IMAP server field type: smtp2.dwhite.gr,
username your email address,
your password
port: 993
security: ssl (all certificates)

  • In the “outgoing server settings” window

in the smtp server field type: smtp0.dwhite.gr,
username your email address,
your password,
port: 587,
security: tls and username + password login

  • Authentication required
  • Accept all certificates
  • POP3
  • Go to Applications (Apps) on your mobile Android and select the “E-mail” application
  • Select the Menu button and then select “Settings”
  • Delete the old account and create a new one
  • Click + and enter the email address and password
  • Then click the “Next” button and in the window that appears select the POP3
  • In the “incoming server settings” window

in the POP server field type: smtp2.dwhite.gr,
username your email address,
your password
port: 995
security: ssl (all certificates)

  • In the “outgoing server settings” window

in the smtp server field type: smtp0.dwhite.gr,
username your email address,
your password,
port: 587,
security: tls and username + password login

  • Authentication required
  • Accept all certificates

  • IMAP
  • Delete the old account and set up a new one with the settings given below
  • Select “Settings” and then choose “mail, contacts, calendar”
  • Select “Add account” and “Other” from the list that appears
  • Select “Add Account mail” and enter your name, your email address and your password
  • Click “Next”
  • Press the “IMAP” button
  • In the Incoming Mail Server area type:

Name host: smtp2.dwhite.gr
Username: your email
Password: your password

  • In the Outgoing Mail Server area type:

Name host: smtp0.dwhite.gr
Username: your email
Password: your password
Server port: 587
Option: SSL activated

  • In the field “Control” select “Password”, click “Save” and press YES to confirm
  • When finished, click the “Advanced” option
  • In the incoming mail server, the settings are:

Activate: Use SSL
Select the option “Password”
Write port 993

  • POP3
  • Delete the old account and set up a new one with the settings given below
  • Select “Settings” and then choose “mail, contacts, calendar”
  • Select “Add account” and “Other” from the list that appears
  • Select “Add Account mail” and enter your name, your email address and your password
  • Click “Next”
  • Press the “POP” button
  • In the Incoming Mail Server area type:

Name host: smtp2.dwhite.gr
Username: your email
Password: your password

  • In the Outgoing Mail Server area type:

Name host: smtp0.dwhite.gr
Username: your email
Password: your password
Server port: 587
Option: SSL activated

  • In the field “Control” select “Password”, click “Save” and press YES to confirm
  • When finished, click the “Advanced” option
  • In the incoming mail server, the settings are:

Select the option “Password”
Write port 995
